The Devil's Kiss...

If the devil really exists,

then i know i kissed him oh i insist,

I was walking alone on a warm and bright road,

as i looked ahead i saw a shape of a man in the distance standing on the road,

as i got closer to him the road got darker and cold,

suddenly he was so close to me I could feel his warmth,

he whispered "I will love you for all your worth",

His words felt so sincere,

His smile so daring and so dear, 

His eyes glowed of fire, 

He looked at me like i was all he desired, 

His embrace was full of curiosity,

His aura was full of diversity,

He promised to take me where love was found,

He said he would show me the light where darkness was found,

He said i could trust him, He said i must love him,

He led me to a path that was full of joy,

He told me to close my eyes and enjoy,

He blinded me with his sweet lies, He made me feel like this was a blessing in disguise, It was hard for me to see and realize, That i was dancing with the devil in bliss, 

all the signs that were there i had missed,

He gave me an illusion and that was the devil's kiss.

I love this guy and his songs, he's just too REAL for this fake world and for that, I'm head over heels with his music! His music represent my prince charming (cliche?, whatever); loving, caring, deep and non judgmental. His music speaks to my soul and thoughts, seems like he really knows how to get his audience in sync with his music and for that I appreciate him. Plus his looks, did you guys see how much of a looker he is? LOL I love eye candy and he is a whole package of that and more when you add his music to it. I appreciate beauty in all forms Music, Art, Views, and looks especially looks ;) . I know I'm gonna meet him someday soon and when I do, I know exactly what to say to him.... Ey don't laugh and roll your eyes, can't a girl dream?

Mirror mirror....

Ladies when you look in the mirror what do you see?

 When I look in the mirror i see a girl with big dreams, Dreams to make her mama's dreams come true. A girl that has trusted so many and got disappointed by those she trusted, she hurts but refuses to cry because she believes that’s showing weakness. A girl that has always wanted to see how she'd look if she was skinny, because all her life she's always been average and still to her she thinks she's fat and has been called fat by bullies in school. A girl that wonders why she has so many emotions yet chooses not to show them afraid of scaring people away. A girl who longs to love and to be loved, but is too scared of heartbreaks so prefers staying single and focusing on building her life instead. A girl who knows she has a lot to learn and is willing to listen to whatever benefits her and ignores that which brings her down because she knows not many want to see her happy. A girl who doesn't believe she is beautiful though she's been told by many that she is and has a kind loving heart, she knows they could be lies because it’s all too familiar. She is human, she makes mistakes and despises those who judge her by it because she knows better than to judge others according to their mistakes or pasts. A girl with an old soul, ancient and that confuses her because she lives in a world that just doesn't believe in the love stories, family values, nor being treated like a lady and having gentlemen. She's not sure what love is because she thought she was in love a few times before, but she's still hoping to find the love of her life, the one she can completely trust, love and accept as part of her... as one. She has dreams of raising a happy family someday, a family strong and united unlike the many families including her own that has so many issues dividing them in one way or  another, she wants Perfection though she knows that is almost impossible... almost. A girl who has so much to say but is afraid people will call her a fool and say that it only happens in the movies... When i look in the mirror Ladies, I SEE ME.

She is just really good at what she does, they say when you love what you do it is not a job anymore.  First she is a Pisces just like me and she embraces that just like me, see I'm not the only weird one out there lol. She has really good music, a daring approach to fashion, wild, intelligent, strong and she is just everything a star should be. Not perfect because everyone has their flaws, she is not ashamed of her flaws instead she embraces them, that's how you know someone is strong and doesn't let insecurities get the best of her. She makes me feel like I’m not crazy to be into things that other people would find extremely weird and abnormal .She inspires many to stand on their own as individuals and embrace the fact that they are different. Everyone is unique and she encourages being happy and content with who one is instead of what society wants them to be.

She has turned into a music sensation and has managed to maintain that title for a while now which leaves people wanting more. She has gone through so much and we have witnessed most of her phases thanks to media, but she has also grown a lot especially in her career. It's always nice to see a young woman have so much fame and power in her name yet stays humble to her fans, friends and family. She has also showed off her other talents such as acting and fashion designing. I didn't fall inlove with her acting, but I'm head over heels over her makeup collection and her fashion ventures, she does have an eye for fashion or in her case should I say two?  Rihanna Navy all the way!...

Cold Case Love

When you've tried everything you know and tried the hardest to keep it together because deep down something told you this is it, he's the one. After the long wait you come to realize it was all in your head, you put your hopes too high, you let your guard fall down, you were only seeing the things you wanted to see because some things bring light, help you through the night, but when you build pedestals you build them to high. It was all lies, all those talks you had, all the times you were there for each other, all the care you had for each other, all the times when you were ready to do anything just to see him happy.. All that meant nothing to him, he claims not to have felt a thing and urges you to stop having any feelings for him. The fear is there, the fear that karma will hit him and you care for him too much to watch him go through what he put you through. You have to let him go, stay away from him because that is the only way you can move on and forget the pain and the feelings. Praying for strength to see you through, the same strength that helped you hold on, to help you let go.. You feel like all your effort, all that you believed in him was nothing.. Nothing, That feeling makes you feel hopeless, useless, foolish. How did you not see it coming? How did you let it get this far? Where are the pieces of your heart? Will you ever find them and become whole again?, become whole enough to love again? .. So many questions and doubts linger in your mind every time you have nothing to do so you keep yourself busy and block it all out until it fades, will that help you forget quickly or will it make you hang on longer??... This is a case; a case unsolved ... A Cold Case Love...

The Beautiful World of Art.

What is Art?

I and many other people ask ourselves from time to time when we seem to get a little confused with all the creativity people come up with and is just breath taking that we lose track of the meaning of it all. Art seems to have no meaning, its just expressions of alot of things like; Love, anger, happiness, sadness, information and most of all one's view on the world as a whole. Art is an expressive language that has no limits of expression as long as the message is recognized. Its a language that is so entertaining and so stimulating mentally and emotionally. Its beauty is only seen by the open minded and free souls that are always open to know the deeper meaning of life and who see life as a work of art within itself. Art is the difference between looking and seeing, hearing and listening, understanding and believing. Its all about the things we miss out on because we feel they are not important, the little things that make us appreciate life more. Art is knowing no matter what you are going through, how you are feeling at this point in your life, You are not alone. Art is anything that has a deeper meaning and value within us.

Making the sounds that are combined to make music, lyrics of a song that touches one's heart in one way or another, a simple poem that carries deeper meaning than we expected, drawing or carvings that symbolizes the things we experienced, things we believe in and the things we have seen. All this is Art because Art has no limit as to how it should be defined or expressed.

 

Valentines Day Everyday.

Feeling the light of the sun from an opening of your window disturb your sleep and instead of getting annoyed and covering your eyes with a pillow to avoid the light, you smile and open your eyes slowly while embracing the light. Its a brand new day! Jump out of bed and say your prayers and thanks to God for letting you live another day. Look at yourself in the mirror and notice your every wrinkle, your every spot, pimple and blemish and say " oh, I don't look perfect. Thank God!''. Look into your 'to do list' for the day and jump into the shower with hopes of achieving your daily goals that will help you achieve your main goal in life. 

Why? because you love yourself enough to be the best that you can be, Why? because nobody else can live your life but yourself and you better live it to the fullest!,Why? because apart from mommy nobody else can love you more than you can love yourself, and Why? because you deserve the best and won't settle for less.

Self love is the most important lesson we need to learn especially as young ambitious women. Many out there will try to put an ambitious woman down by making her feel like what she is doing is wrong and she shouldn't want more in life than just a normal life, like being extra ordinary is a sin. Self love is not an easy lesson, it takes a lot of years for one to truly appreciate themselves. Young ladies struggle with themselves all through their teen years,the lucky ones will get to learn self love in their early 20's and other a little later in life. Self love is more than just looking good, dressing good and showing off your body. Self love is knowing yourself as an individual, knowing your strengths and your weaknesses, taking care of your body by eating healthy and staying fit. Self love is also about knowing what really matters from what shouldn't even be an issue in your life, setting your priorities and being aware of your options, setting goals in life and working on achieving them, planning your life in a way that allows you to live up to your full potential. Self love is enjoying every moment without missing a minute of your life showing love and appreciating those that love you.

Its Valentines day everyday when you learn to love yourself fully without a doubt, when you truly love yourself that's when you can fully love someone else and have a fulfilling relationship. If you don't love yourself then who else will?

Troubled waters.

When someone around you has made you doubt everything they said or did after just one incident. When you feel confused about your future, your present and your past ... you can't seem to see the difference. When that person you trusted with your life has let you down over the most worthless reason. When you don't know who to believe, who to trust, who can help and who you need to see. When life just feels unreal, unbareable and unfair. When you feel like you are a time bomb just waiting to explode and get it over with. That sick feeling in the stomach that makes you hate everything around you and you feel like everyone is out to get you. You look so calm and simple from the outside but so deep, troubled and complex inside.

How does one deal with such misery?... slow down, close your eyes, take a deep breath. Open your eyes slowly and look again, is it as bad as you think or are your emotions and over thinking that is making you feel like you are just drowning?. Things are bad, but they could be worse... always remember someone out there is having it worse than you. Get yourself together and think of all the good things and people in your life. Think of how you have more than those who are having very less. Pray to whatever God you believe in because meditation is said to calm the nerves. Smile... really a smile helps more than you know, think happy positive thoughts. There is always a solution to every problem, if there isn't one the its probably not a problem and you are just over thinking the situation and blowing it out of proportion. Happiness is a choice and is something that is found from within, not from other people or things around you. When you decide to be happy you will see things in a different light and might just realize you opened a door to all the solutions and opportunities you thought were impossible to find.

Troubled waters can always be calmed by taking control of the situation and not letting a situation control you.

Will the glass ever be full?

A glass... or for some a cup. I use this as a metaphor of how I see human behaviors, we are like a glass that never becomes full and therefore needs to be filled continuously. We live and we learn, we experience and we make memories, all this fills the glass everyday. Our achievements too, our riches... it is known that humans are never satisfied with themselves. One can wish to have a mansion and works so hard to achieve that dream, luckily they endup making their dream come true then they start thinking something is missing and start wanting something else or a bigger and much complex mansion and etc. With that said, we go back to the glass again, its never filled because apart from all the memories, lessons, achievements and riches, we will always want more. Very few are those who would feel satisfied when they get what they want and even they still add on to their lives...

Apart from achievements, even in relationships we always want more. Demands grow as the relationship grows, those who are lucky or we can say 'meant' to be together will always complete each other one way or the other and those who were just not lucky end up going separate ways because they couldn't handle the other's demands. They say true love is enough, but is it really enough in the world of today?, people have gotten so money driven that material things mean more than life itself. The demands are often materialistic than emotional. It is said that today people are more scared of failing in life than being scared of death. That's how driven people are now a days, question is will there ever be enough to give all these driven people what they want?, when it comes to love it only takes two people who really want to be together and are working towards staying together, Otherwise most of these relationships don't work because neither of the people involved put staying together and making things work as one of their priorities. Their priority is just making it in life and they are really not ready for "that" kind of relationship where "true love" is involved.

The question is will the glass ever be full?... my answer is the only time it stops getting empty is when it breaks, the only time we will ever stop wanting more is when our time is up and its time to leave earth, the only time we will be satisfied is when we are dead.

Deeper than the ocean?

Emotions run deep... sometimes deeper than we expect. A lot happens in life that makes one question their morals, principal, faith, goals and even their existence. When that happens should we dwell on the negativity surrounding the situation or look at it with a positive outlook? That's not the question, the question should be do you want  your life to be dark or bright?. If you like it dark then that explains the negativity surrounding you. Its always a choice when it comes to how you react to situations, you do not just fail or feel hopeless, you chose to fail and feel hopeless. Learn to identify with yourself, know your weaknesses, your strengths, no need to pretend with yourself. Be true to yourself and work towards improving that which you are not happy with. You think you are fat or unhealthy?, work out, change your diet (eat HEALTHY, don't starve yourself), you want to ace that exam? study for it! Procrastination is the king of all chaos... when you don't do what you are supposed to do, and when you are supposed to do it you start to feel the pressure and start doubting your capabilities which would lead to bad emotional state with life.

When it comes to love...emotions and confusion run even deeper. There are some who cannot differentiate between the love of a parent or sibling and the love of a significant other. Sure we all know the basics, but your significant other cannot love you like your mama or daddy. You simply cannot have your full trust in someone who never saw you walk your first step or heard say your first word and expect him/her to love you with the same pure true love of the ones who raised you. If you expect too much then you will almost always be disappointed. Everyone has baggage, we all have gone through that love that made us see things differently in love, that one love that made us realize we had rose colored glasses on and needed to take them off to face reality. Then there are those who cannot take the painful reality so they paint their own story, well if that makes you sleep at night then so be it, but always know the reality to your perfectly painted story. Love is hard, love is confusing, love is amazing, love is fascinating, love is a bunch of lies, love is beautiful and love can be ugly too... it all depends on you.
